In the mid 80's I moved to Toronto and began performing at the flagship location of
Yuk-Yuk's - the world's largest chain of comedy clubs.
In between touring pubs, clubs, restaurants, colleges & universities in Ontario, I began studying improv with the
famous Second City at the Old Firehall Theatre.
With the success of my disc jockey business, I found that I had less and less time to devote to writing new comedy material.
Once I moved back to British Columbia in the 90's, I began writing again. My first one man show SiMULATED NUDiTY
premiered at the 13th Annual Vancouver Fringe
Festival.

The following year I came back to the Vancouver Fringe with THE RETURN OF NiGEL CUMMERBUND: BRiTiSH SEX EXPERT!
featuring the most popular character from my first show.
This second show was even more successful than the first and had a number of SOLD OUT
performances at the 17th Annual Edmonton Fringe Festival.
In fact Nigel has become so popular that this page is now a part of his web site
www.DrNigel.org where the org is short for orgasm.
